Tour With Vera Across Ireland
Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Want to Know

And a few things you hadn’t thought to ask yet.

Always. It’s just you — or your group — and me. No strangers, no coach, no waiting for anyone else. This is your trip and your time. That’s non-negotiable for me.
That’s actually the whole point. I don’t have a fixed itinerary I hand everyone. I want to know who you are, what you love, what brought you to Ireland. Then I build something around that. Every single trip I run is different because every person is different.
A day, a week, two weeks — whatever works for you. I run everything from single day tours right up to two-week full island experiences. If you’re not sure what length suits, just get in touch and we’ll figure it out together.
I run a minimum of two days for most tours. One day simply isn’t enough time to show you the real Ireland — and I’m not in the business of rushing you past things that deserve more than five minutes.
My time, my expertise, private transport, and selected entrance fees. Breakfast is included on multi-day tours. Flights and accommodation aren’t included — that gives you the freedom to choose what suits your budget and style — but I’m very happy to point you in the right direction.
I can absolutely suggest places that suit the kind of trip you’re on — whether that’s a cosy B&B with a legendary breakfast or something a little more special. Just ask.
More than okay. Some of my favourite tours have been solo travellers. There’s something brilliant about one person and Ireland — you notice more, you stop more, you take it all in properly. I love a solo tour.
Tell me and we plan around it. Ireland is beautiful at every pace. We go at yours — always.
Absolutely. Kids who come to Ireland with Delaney Tours tend to leave with stories they’ll tell for the rest of their lives. Ireland has a way of doing that to people of all ages.
This is one of my favourite parts of the job. If you’re coming to Ireland to trace your roots, tell me your family name and where they were from and we’ll weave that into your trip in a way that’ll give you chills. Most people start their research online before they arrive — sites like Ancestry.com and Findmypast.com are brilliant — and by the time they land in Ireland they already know a little of their story. Then we go find it together.
Any time. Ireland in summer is stunning. Ireland in autumn is dramatic and golden. Ireland in winter is raw and wild and completely magical. Spring is all green fields and newborn lambs. There is no bad time — just different kinds of beautiful.
Just get in touch. Fill in the enquiry form, send me a WhatsApp, or drop me an email at delaneytours@gmail.com. Tell me a little about yourself, your dates, and what you’re dreaming of — and we’ll take it from there. No pressure. No hard sell. Just a conversation.

Still wondering about something?

Ask away. Tell me what you’re thinking, what you’re hoping for, or what you’re not quite sure about yet — and we’ll figure it out together.
